Bm Chord on Guitar (Minor)

B minor is the most searched barre chord on guitar - it appears in thousands of songs in the key of D.

How to play it

  1. Barre your 1st finger across the top five strings at the 2nd fret (skip the low E).
  2. Place your 2nd finger on the 3rd fret of the B (2nd) string.
  3. Place your 3rd finger on the 4th fret of the D (4th) string.
  4. Place your 4th finger on the 4th fret of the G (3rd) string.
  5. Strum from the A (5th) string down.
Fingering tip: Press just behind the fret wire, not on top of it. If a note buzzes, add a little pressure or move closer to the fret.
