About GuitarReady

GuitarReady is a free guitar lesson site for complete beginners. Every lesson is short, plain-spoken and built to be practiced the same day you read it.

You do not need an account, an email address or any equipment beyond a guitar. Work through the lessons in order, practice a little each day, and you will be playing real music within your first few weeks.

New lessons are added regularly, so check back as you progress.
